Day 1: Chipping Campden & Hidcote
After meeting at London Paddington, a 1.5 hour journey brings us to the Cotswolds. First we stroll around Chipping Campden, an elegant market town. Next we visit the beautiful Hidcote Manor Gardens, a series of colourful and intricately designed outdoor rooms. For those that want to venture further, Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s birthplace is nearby. (Overnight Moreton-in-Marsh, B, D)

Day 2: Bourton-on-the-Water, The Slaughters & Snowshill
We will spend today weaving our way through the Cotswolds most famous villages; Chipping Campden, Bourtonon-the-Water, and The Slaughters. Lunch can be enjoyed in the lovely gardens at Snowshill Manor, before we venture to Broadway Tower, a looming structure with a viewing platform that presents spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. (Overnight Moreton-in-Marsh, B)
Day 3: Blenheim Palace & Burford
Step inside Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill and discover the history and splendour within. Enjoy a delectable picnic in the palace grounds and explore its beautiful formal gardens and parkland. Next we travel to Burford, the Gateway to the Cotswolds. (Overnight Burford, B, D)
(After approaching Blenheim Palace via the back gate, we will then walk through its sprawling luscious grounds. Km: 6,4 - 9,7. The route from the hotel to Blenheim Palace is downhill and approximately 32 km in total. Km: 35,4 - 61,1)
Day 4: Bampton & Oxford
This morning we visit Bampton, where many outdoor shots for the hit show Downton Abbey were filmed. Afterwards we venture to the home of William Morris, the founder of the Arts and Crafts movement. In the afternoon we can arrange a visit to the university town of Oxford. (Overnight Burford, B, D)
Day 5: White Horse Hill
For our final day we travel to White Horse Hill to see the oldest chalk-cut hill figure in Britain and a Neolithic longbarrow, before lunch at the White Horse in Woolstone. From there we transfer to the station for the return journey. (B)
